THE PARTNERSHIP FOR ADVOCACY IN CHILD AND FAMILY HEALTH AT SCALE (PAS)

Overview

The Partnership for Advocacy in Child and Family Health at Scale (PAS) is health accountability network of Nigeria Civil Society Organizations working to catalyze national and state governments to make adequate provision for child and family health in Nigeria through evidence-based advocacy for domestic financing and building champions within the executive and legislature.

It’s a multi-million project of BMGF awarded to the Development Research and Project Centre (dRPC) to AAFP as the sub-recipient of the Family Planning Component of the project. PAS was a scale up of PACFaH. AAFP implemented this project between 2017 to 2019

Achievements

Strengthened institutionalization of accountability mechanisms and standards in New FP Blueprint (2019-2023) and in the FP related policies

Increased media participation in family planning advocacy in Nigeria

Strengthened FP budget performance at the national level through the development and implementation of Nigeria Renewed FP2020 Commitment Scorecard
